Tom’s interview with Dichiera.

Tom:
“How long have you been DJing?”
Dichiera:
“Three and half years now, started when I was bout 16 and a half.”

Tom:
“What or who have been your influences?”
Dichiera:
“When I first started I was influenced by my older cousin Glen Dichiera, I seen him playing his dex one day and I always loved house music so I though I’d give it a crack!
Mastiksoul has lately been a massive influence on my style, he is by far my fav DJ! Love his funky house!”

Tom:
“What would you say is your style?”
Dichiera:
“House/Funk House/Progressive House”

Tom:
“Where are you resident?”
Dichiera:
“Resident at Mildura Brewery Pub”

Tom:
“Play at any events or festivals recently?”
Dichiera:

“Last event was Sand In Your Pants which was a huge success. Party along the murry river on a sandbar with 7 diff DJ’s from Mildura and Melb. “
Tom:
“Where would you like to see yourself in the future?”
Dichiera:
“Well currently i am on track to be living in melbourne around august this year. Hope fully i am lucky enough to get a few gigs down there and see where it takes me.”

Tom:
“Have you ever thought about producing tracks or doing any remixes?”
Dichiera:
“Yes very much so ! i have had a little play with abelton live but at the moment i am so full on with other work i havent really got the time or space to concentrate on producing but it is a definate for me in the near future ! Producing my own tracks would be a dream come true !”

Tom:
“Whats your favorite thing about Djing?”
Dichiera:
“Ahh well there is lots ! to say a few i would have to say first of all the music . . constantly finding new funky fresh trax and playing new tracks is one of my favorite things to do, whether it be to a crowd or at my place ! Another favorite is the buzz i get out playin a set to a crowd . . nothing better than to see a whole bunch of people rockin to the tunes that your pumpin out !!”
